In conclusion, the technology sources available to people greatly influence their lives and on the other hand people have influence on technology’s development and how it is used.
We have discussed the importance of technology in the various areas of our lives and the influence of technology sources in each one of them.
I have also countered each good effect of the technology sources with what I think are the negative effects of the wrong use of technology sources. I am of the opinion that technology is not harmful to any person on the face of this earth, unless he wants to use it for destructive or selfish purposes.
The social consequences of the technological modernization are the negative impact on people’s behavior and the creation of the new technological generation. However, people should take advantage of the technology advances and use it wisely in benefit to their lives.
It is important to note that there are bad sides to every good thing in the world, and it is up to us as to how we expose ourselves to the correct usage of technology and learn to derive the full potential from the technology sources for our and the community’s benefit.
In the start of this discussion, I had said that “… the most important contribution of technology to society is making the lives of common people much easier and helping them achieve what was previously not possible…”.
Now we can verify for ourselves whether the technology source being used by us is actually making our lives better in the level of involvement, the amount of information that we are getting from it or not.
We should also consider whether it’s making our relationships with our loved ones better or more strained. Has technology improved our standard of living or worsened it? Has the globalization happened because of technology revolution or the other way round? And either ways how it has benefited us?
Even though all theses questions have not been answered because there is no possible solution which is available, we can surely give more though to each and every of them.
